Julien Santi-Rocca received his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2008 from the Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris 6). His teaching and research activities focused mainly on the biology of parasites and their interaction with their hosts, working at the Institut Pasteur (Paris, France), at the Centro de Biología Molecular Severo Ochoa (Madrid, Spain) and at the Centre de Physiopathologie de Toulouse Purpan (Toulouse, France). He has dedicated more than 15 years to study host-parasite interaction and periodontitis and published many research papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
