Renewal of Life

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. While that edition was in the press, I was struck down by a dangerous illness, and have been out of work nearly eighteen months. On my return, by God's grace, to health and labor, I find it sold off, and a new one called for before I have again occupied the teacher's chair. I have, therefore, no fresh matter to offer, and must content myself with a thorough revision, and the addition of an index unavoidably omitted last year.
