Medizinethik als Ethik der Pflege

The authors draw upon Heidegger's hermeneutics of the history of being and American pragmatism to develop a method that offers new insights for resolving everyday crises in today's complex interactions between the world of technological medicine and the life situation of each patient. The methodology of clinical pragmatism is applied to develop a new ethics of care, based on case examples taken from practice.
