?'The Waldeyer was an absolute must. [...] This book was worth its weight in gold: Didactically and with respect to content, it connected anatomy with physiology and - even more important - it related anatomy to clinical and 'real' life. [...] I kept the Waldeyer on my desk for many years, especially when I began surgical training. But even today I keep the 17th edition of the Waldeyer in my office. You never know...?'
